Senior Adviser in the field of social sciences and humanities

The Icelandic Centre for Research (Rannís) wants to recruit a full-time senior adviser in the field of social sciences and humanities. The employee will be responsible for the administration of some of Rannis' competitive funds and participate in relvant  international cooperation. This entails daily comunication with our clients, organisation of meetings and other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in the field of social sciences or humanities is a required, doctoral degree is preferred.
• Research experience.
• Experience of international cooperation
• Ambition, autonomy and initiative
• Good communication and cooperation skills
• Very good Icelandic skills, English skills and knowledge of at least one Nordic language required
