Icelandic Research Fund 2012 - New proposals (analysis)
A total of 267 proposals were submitted to the Icelandic Research Fund during its latest call, for new proposals for the grant year 2012. The deadline was 1 June 2011 for Project Grants and Grants of Excellence and 15 June 2011 for START Fellowships. This is the highest number of new proposals in five years and the total amount of money applied for during the first project year exceeds 1.7 billion ISK, which is the highest since the establishment of the Fund in 2004.
